Ive fought with the volume control with my original Direct TV remotes. Finally I saw these on Amazon and bought 2. Programed them in and they work great.

My original remotes of this type were giving out. I purely hated the new black remotes I recvd. Love these old style ones. Since I know where all the critical buttons are, I can use it in the dark. Small new black ones would have had me pressing two buttons at once.

Perfect works great

Decided to get 2 pack. Last remote lasted 3 years after lot of daily use . The volume just stopped work. Tried to see if buttons were stuck after many attempts via suggested on line , decided to order new. Immediately was programmed to work for volume and had it! Now have a back up!!
