Decided to get 2 pack. Last remote lasted 3 years after lot of daily use . The volume just stopped work. Tried to see if buttons were stuck after many attempts via suggested on line , decided to order new. Immediately was programmed to work for volume and had it! Now have a back up!!

Bought these as a replacement for my hundred year old original and now I can change the channels with ease. Just programmed it to the receiver, took a little time, but finally got it. I recommend it to anyone.

They work. I didnt have to call DIRECTV or sign a contract extension to get the remotes. Functional.

The AT&T guide and stickers are included, so this may an OEM item. Like having a new DVR! Many annoying “bugs” are gone now, so evidently problems where in the last two worthless units I bought on Amazon. This remote has a “crisp” tactile feel, like a high end keyboard. Amazingly good deal, two for the price of one.
