Disney Moana Mauis Magical Fish Hook, Motion Activated Lights and Sound!

This is a very well made and produced tie in with the Moana movie release. This Maui hook has been a huge hit with my Son and I admit I am impressed by it as well. The detail is more more in depth than most childrens toys and its well made for the intended age group. Packaging is fairly simple to get off and the one gripe is the lighting and music selection is fairly limited. Well worth the price!

My daughter is a Moana fan so I bought this, along with Moana s necklace, as a gift for her Moanas themed 3rd birthday. She loved it. It came in perfect conditions and working properly. It might be too heavy for kids under 3. Received on April 18, 2018.

Can’t wait to give this to my son for his birthday! Anything he picks up that looks like a hook; be it a stick or even a straw, he calls it Maui’s hook. So to give him this will be a real treat. It feels like it’s put together well and the lights and sounds are great. The only reason for only 4 stars is because he has not gotten his hands on it yet. This will be the true test of durability when a 2 year old gets a hold of it. I will update at the end of the month after his bday. **Update 9/14 My son loves this! It is durable and super bright when it lights up. He loves the noises that it makes and enjoys holding it above his head and yelling yaaahooowwweee!!!

Works as pictured, lights up and makes a few different sounds. The plastic portion is durable and batteries are lasting longer than expected. Rubber tip did get pulled off almost immediately after handing it over but nothing was broken so it was easily put back by loosening the nearest screw, pushing it back into the groove and screwing back together. The rubber tip also hurts less, if I may add that as a benefit when you eventually are hit with it.
