I bought this for a newly 4 year old and he (and his sister) LOVE it. It lights up and makes cool noises when you swing it around. It seems to be sturdy and well crafted. The only downside (and this has nothing to do with the product itself) is that I have now armed a 4 year old with a weapon that hurts on impact.
