Easy to separate the six strands of floss. I have as yet experienced no tangling. This floss follows the embroidery needle smoothly through the fabric. Lovely colors. I will purchase DMC floss again.

If youre looking for the discontinued DMC colors 3880-3895, this is not it. The picture in the description is the old, discontinued box, but what I received was a newer version containing the replacement colors (04, 35, 312, 445, 543, 648, 722, 801, 907, 970, 3041, 3364, 3722, 3837, 3844, 3846). Its a nice assortment, hence the 3 stars, but not what I was looking for and not what is pictured.
