Greater than one weekOrdered this thinking it was DMC embroidery floss. It’s not. It’s for making friendship bracelets and has a flat finish. Never saw the DMC label on the package at all. Unable to return. Gave away to friends children to pluse. Very disappointed.

Greater than one weekThe colours are those you see in the picture (plus more on the back of the pack) and they make for a very good assortment with different shades for each hue. Quality of the thread is extremely good and can say from previous experience that the floss does not discolour or spoil when washing the embroidered items. Extremely pleased!

> 3 dayOut of all the packs of DMC embroidery floss, this is probably the best pack to start with. It includes 1 white and 1 black skein and many other basic colours. The price is a bit high on all of the DMC packs considering you get a number of colours that you may not want. DMC regular floss is my favourite thread for many crafts as it has a nice sheen, soft feel and holds knots well.

Wash & Care Instructions
DMC Embroidery Floss can be washed frequently without fading. It can be washed at a high temperature ( 95° C/203° F). Be sure to pay attention to the washing instructions on the fabric on which the thread was embroidered.
Start Stitching
How To Use Six-Strand Embroidery Floss
To separate the floss"s strands, take your skein and find the tail that sticks out. Pull the tail out from the skein slowly until you have an 18" length of floss and cut it off. If you"d like to separate the thread into individual strands, pull one strand up and out slowly until it"s fully separated from the others.
Take your strands, thread your needle, and begin your embroidery journey!
