DMC Stranded Cotton Shade Card - W100B

I got this for a gift for my friend and she loves it and says it is exactly what she needed and it helps her a lot with identifying colors. It has the real threads on it so comparing colors is easier than if it was ink on a page.

I was thrilled to find an updated version of the book. It is great that it has the actual flosses not just pictures. Makes it easier to match threads. Has almost all of the news colors that DMC has produced

DMC Color Chart with the threads!! Just what I needed. I already had the printed color chart but it jus didn’t cut it. Having the actual thread to see and compare is priceless. Love it!

It is a lovely book. I would rate higher but unfortunately it arrived damaged. Amazon did help resolve that.

A card looks good: hight quality print and samples. There are all kinds DMC treads including metallic colors and multicolor treads. But it has weakness. If an embroiderer look often at this color guide, the covers edges can damage quickly. People usually buy a color card for using long time and the cover should be harder.

This is the best aid for stitching using DMC. It has all the colors & all the kinds of thread with actual thread samples.

I ordered this specific product because it contains actual threads, not just photos of the colors. I think it somewhat pricey, but as it was difficult to even find one I decided to go ahead with it and am glad I did. I do a lot of counted cross stitch and often want to change the colors for customization, and this card is crucial to that process. It is organized in a way that makes it easy to use.

I liked everything about it, I use it for cross stitching.

I have recently been given a large collection of floss and 98% of it is unmarked. Other color cards I have seen have a misleading picture and it makes it very hard to match colors, but the thread samples in these makes it so much easier. It’s also organized by color instead of numerically so it’s easy to find a color that is similar to what you may already have in your collection instead of having to go buy more. My only issue is that I bought this last week and had to pay $20 more than the current price, but it was still worth it because I’m finally getting my colors accurately organized.
