Dominion 2nd Edition | Deckbuilding Strategy Game for 2-4 Players, Ages 13+ | Updated Cards, Artwork, Streamlined Rules

My son and his family are enjoying this game.

Ive first played this game at a friends house last summer and thought it was a great deck building card game. I purchased this for Christmas for my girlfriend since she likes these types of games, but some cards were missing. We recounted all of the cards multiple times, compared to the count per the guide inside the box, and noticed that we were missing 1 Poacher, 1 Remodel, 1 Sentry, and 8 Smithy cards.

Played this game at a friends house, then kids loved it so we got it, easy to play games can be pretty short or quick. Fun game for everyone.

Super fun as two players and we can also play with our older kids (11 and 13). We got hooked while visiting with family and we play it several times a week now. Always a good time! I do wish we could play with 6 so I’ll have to look for expansions. This is our only deck building fame but we have loved playing lots of tile games (Carcassonne, Catan, King Domino, etc).

The game is designed to be replayed indefinitely. It has the mechanics of a deck builder with the conscious strategy of some other very robust economy games. That being said, its still remarkably easy to learn, and once you are at the table with people who are familiar with the flow of the game, start to finish is normally no longer than about a half hour. Overall, this has become one of my favorite games of the past five years.

This was the first time I have played a deck builder game and it was a lot of fun. I played it with my 10 year daughter the first time and she loved it too. Easy to learn.

We have gifted this game more than any other. We routinely give this to friends particularly friends with kids. We have taught kids as young as 9 and adults as old as 85. The game is easy to set up with no complicated board, rules and pieces. It can easily be taught while people play which alleviates boredom and short attention span problems. There are multiple possible choices of games which makes it great choice for an evening or a complete family vacation. And play moves fairly quickly with most games ending in 30-60 minutes. Everyone loves this game. People learn the game and the basic big money strategy quickly. We often give people expansions as well with Prosperity and the duration cards from Seaside being favorites. I highly recommend this game.
