Donut Pillow for Tailbone Pain Relief and Hemorrhoids, Donut Cushion for Postpartum Pregnancy and After Surgery Sitting Relief, Suitable for Men and Women at Home & Office Chairs

I have a problem with the bottom portion of my spine. I have been looking for something to sit on that would feel comfortable and not hurt. I purchased one cushion from Amazon which had a cut out in the back. It was OK to use on a chair but I could not use it in my car because it was almost 3 thick and had no give. My Doctor said to get a donut pillow. I did a lot of research and read reviews on Amazon. I finally purchased the Ergonomic Innovations Orthopedic Donut Pillow. This is a perfect fit for me, not too hard, not too soft and easy to pick up and move from one chair to another. The removable cover was easy to unzip and the foam inside was new. The pillow comes in a hard box (not a plastic bag). I am 57 and weigh 143 pounds. At first I was unsure how to use the pillow but the customer service is excellent in responding to your questions. The best test was an 8 hour car ride. The pillow fit fine in the car and I was able to enjoy the trip. I like the pillow so much that I purchased a second one to keep in the car.

I sit all day and have issues with my back and did not have a very comfortable office chair. This is pricey, but worth it! Since I got this, I have been comfortable in my old rickety chair and had less pain on my bottom and back.

Not as large as it appears

I can’t stop talking about how comfortable this doughnut pillow is! Any position I shift into continues to give me great support for my tailbone/perineal pain postpartum. I would buy multiple pillows from this company in the future if I needed one for at work and home.

9,000+ miles of driving over a two month period. I could not have done it without my Donut! Plus, when I stopped for sack lunch leftovers at some godforsaken metal-bench picnic table, I could take my donut from the car and plop it down at the picnic spot to save myself agony. At one point, outside Bourbon, Missouri, I left my donut on a (wrought-iron) restaurant chair and drove for an hour before realizing I had left the Donut behind! meanwhile a tornado watch was in effect. I called the restaurant and they said they had not seen my donut, so with tornadoes on the one hand and a dubious recovery on the other, I headed to my cabin without it. The next day I called the restaurant. They had found it! But... was it really worth backtracking an hour and a half to retrieve it and then re-drive that hour and a half to be back at the cabin? HECK YEAH! I got my donut back - and NO REGRETS! Now I am getting another for my home. Oh - and the canoe thing.... I took it on TWO canoe treks (4 - 7 hours). When it wasnt providing comfort on those brutal plexiglass canoe seat planks, it even worked to soften the pain on my knees when I had to put my weight below. Then it dried nicely and was ready for full car use the next day! SO worthwhile!

I had bought this for relief from my back surgery - a major back fusion surgery. And I got amazing relief from it. I bring it everywhere I have to go. In the car, when I have to go to doctors appts, in my chair here at home. It is a life saver. High quality and really supports my lower back and relieving pain in my tail bone. Recently, my father in laws prostate cancer traveled into his tailbone area. I purchased this same product for him and he too gets a great deal of relief. Highly recommend this product if you are looking to get relief from pain in the lower back and/or tailbone area.

I didnt have instructions about how to sit on the pillow properly had to go find a blog post on the website. Ive never had a pillow like this before nobody ever told me how to use a pillow like this I just bought it because I have tailbone injury from a long car ride. Once I know how to sit in a properly works great

In dealing with tailbone pain, this pillow has been great! Just the right amount of give, allowing me to adjust my position to provide maximum comfort!

I am recovering from a fall, and have been in serious discomfort and pain. Since this arrived, I have sat on it, and also used it in bed, as I am currently sleeping sitting up. Almost immediately I felt relief - this has really made a big difference in my comfort!

I feel comfortable sitting on this pillow. It looks nice, feels even better, and has a washable cover with zippers: it is not cheaply made! I can see - I mean feel - it solving lots of problems!
