I actually bought this for using in my garden. I learned last summer that I could make my own insecticidal soap and spray but a liquid soap (not detergent) had to be used. Didnt know the difference. I thought all liquid soap type products were liquid soap. Not the case. Almost all are detergents which arent great for plants, while the real liquid soap is fine for them. Had to read up on it. I thought Dawn, Tide, shampoo, etc. were all soaps but they arent. They are detergents which strip oils. This is a unique product. So if you need to add liquid soap to any of your gardening products, this is the one to get. The mint smell actuals deters bugs as well.

This soap is perfect! I train BJJ so its important for me to have a soap that really does clean thoroughly yet doesnt dry out my skin. I shower sometimes 3 times a day and Dr Bronners is really gentle on my skin. I have tried so many other Tea Tree soaps but always go back to Dr Bronners. It is also the most reasonably priced!! Great stuff and the liquid is versatile too if you want to clean with it.

I love this product so much! I was watching YouTube videos on this soap and it had so many great reviews I decided to purchase. The comments honestly turned me off to the rose scented one, people were saying it smelled chemically and sour but that is not true at all! As a pregnant woman who is very sensitive to scents at this time the smell does not bother me it’s pretty gentle for how strong this soap is! Highly recommend it I use Degree deodorant but it’s very had to wash off with soap because it’s so thick, let me tell you this soap stripped it away in one wash! I LOVE IT! Used it to wash off my makeup and felt so clean and unclogged. Just a few tiny droplets goes a LONG WAY!

I love this soap,It is great as a shampoo, but you have to find a balance that works for you. I am an African-American woman who wears her hair natural and I tried many different types of shampoo for my hair. Like many of you , I read the reviews and was a little leery about using this product for shampoo but I tried it anyway and I am so glad I did. It is wonderful and my hair has never looked better, I use 1/2 a cup of the Dr. Bonners, 1/2 cup of distilled water, 1 tsp of grape seed oil( you can use whatever oil you like) , 1sp of coconut oil and a 1sp of she butter melted and my hair is not dry at all. In fact it is soft and shiny and I love it! Im not saying this combo will work for everyone. I tried a few different combinations before this one so you may have to channel your inner chemist but it was worth it and now I only use this in my hair.

I have a pretty bothersome case of seborrheic dermatitis, and I read on a pretty popular forum that this stuff really helps. Ive tried Jason shampoo for dandruff, which states that it helps seborrheic dermatitis, but it didnt work for me. I also tried several other shampoos, like tgel and selsun blue, and they didnt work for me either. the only one that did anything besides this was nizoral but i wanted something less harmful. I wash my hair every other day or every 2 days, and after trying this stuff the itchiness, red patches and flaking was gone. Ive been using it for a couple of months now and I dont have issues anymore. The fact that it can also be used as a body was is even better, less cluttering. Edit: 11.19.12 I switched to Nizoral just to see the different effects. I have to say that it works better in controlling it. With Bronners after 2 days my seborrheic Dermatitis starts to kick in with itching etc. With nizeral sometimes Id go 3 or even 4 days and Im okay. This might be just me, but Ive also noticed less hair loss. Still like Bronners though since its the next best thing and its more natural than anything else, plus i use it for numerous other things.

Been using Dr Bronners for decades. First started using the peppermint backpacking and its perfect for...just like it says..everything! Camping wed us it for brushing teeth, bodyhair, dishes, laundry, etc. Its eco-friendly and mild. I have severe sensitivities with hard soaps and detergents and Dr Bronners has never bothered me in any way! We currently use the tea tree for our foaming hand soap pumps in the kitchen and bathroom. It gives a nice clean feeling and light smell along with tea tree oils extra properties. Bottles of peppermint, tea tree, and lavender liquid Castile soap are always in stock in our home! Hard water note: use distilled water in the soap pumps or cleaning mixtures if you have hard water. While it wont hurt the efficacy of the soap, it clouds the liquid and I feel, leaves a light residue on things. YMMV

This is a favorite soap of mine due to it being all-natural and having excellent natural anti-bacterial properties due to the tea tree oil. Its a great face and body soap. That said, I have had many times where the pumping action in the pump dispensers of any kind I use it in, build up clumps that look like blobs of glycerine soap on the end of the pump with a bit of a clog...so you pump it a few times and WHAM it spews out. I cant fault the soap totally for this as its a great soap if you use it in the container provided, but I did want the consumer to be aware in the event that you decide to switch it to a pump dispenser. Two days ago I did this and it sprayed directly in my eye. It had clogged the pump dispenser because the pumping action makes a glob build up. The pain was so intense I couldnt stop screaming and it dried out my eye horribly. I simply couldnt seem to rinse it all out. I know this clogging property happens to everyone who uses a pump with this. I wish they could make it not do that. That said, as an adult, as long as you know and remember to pump it once then clean out any dried glycerine blobs at the end of the pump dispenser, it could work just fine. Better yet, just dont put it in a pump dispenser and use it directly from this bottle. Its a technical difficulty and an inconvenience but not one big enough to hinder my love of the soap and the great ingredients in it. Ive used it for a long time now and do love the soap, but wanted to give a heads up at the same time.
