Dr. Seuss The Grinch / Le Grincheux

Anyone who gave this a bad rating clearly is just upset because, they dont like a modern Grinch because they grew up with the original classic Grinch cartoon. This movie was one of the most adorable and fun feel-good animated movies Ive seen in a long time. Benedict Cumberbatch killed it as the Grinch and, all the gadgets and grandeur of the Grinchs holiday heist scene is so creative and colorful and fantastical! This is one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time up. This movie was a joy to watch and if you couldnt find joy in this movie maybe, youre the Grinch.

I really dont know what some people are complaining about that this is not the true Grinch.It adds narration which yes Dr Suess didnt write but unlike most of the reviewers I actually like it. I also like the additions to the story like Cindy Lou Who trapping Santa Claus.This is a good movie.You should it.Merry Christmas.

Terrible and should be banned.

After being not terribly pleased with the Jim Carrey/Ron Howard treatment of Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas I had very mixed feelings when first hearing that Illumination was going to do another version, this time animated in the modern style. However, between hearing of Benedict Cumberbatch assuming the lead role and the grand look of the previews my family and I decided to give it a whirl, and were so glad we did. Wonderfully paced, warmly funny with great voice performances (especially Cumberbatch), its everything you would want in a Dr. Seuss adaption without laying on the sentiment too heavily and keeping it faithful to the Christmas classic. Very highly recommended!

Growing up with the original animated Grinch, this is a fun modernization and interpretation of the classic we know and love. While holding true to some aspects and bringing in new ideas, lovable characters, and a stellar animation team, this take on the Grinch will quickly become a family favorite for years to come.

Interesting vision

The Grinch is the Grinch I must say but he was a bit on the cute side hes not really the mean one were used to and overall Id say the Jim Carrey or the original is better than this one
