11-06-2025This is the most frustrating tape to try to use. It is very thin and once you find the end of the tape and try to pull a length off, it comes off in uneven strips. Then you have to find the end of each strip and start over again, hoping that youll get a full strip. I wish I could return it. It takes a very long time to try to tape something because it doesnt come off in full strips. I definitely dont recommend buying this tape.

Greater than one weekBought this thinking it was the same as the tape dispenser I bought. It isnt, apparently. Duck apparently makes HP260 which is solid and *this*, which, I dont know who isnt buying this by mistake, cause its worthless crap. The roll came with bumps and deformities, making it more difficult to find where the tape begins, and when you finally do, youll consistently just start tearing chunks off the end instead of getting a pull on the tape. Its far too thin for the amount of adhesion. Unhappily, this problem returns literally every time you set the tape down. Im just going to throw the rest of this away. Its not worth the minutes of my life spent struggling to get a decent piece of tape off of it.

> 3 dayI just finished up a six pack of Duck brand Easy Start tape. In coming to this, it feels like Ive gone from padded two-ply, so scratchy single ply. You know what Im talking about.... What this means is that the tape is difficult to wrangle, it will stick to itself in the blink of an eye, even when youre trying to be careful with it. Which is reaallly annoying. Overall, this is finicky and cheap feeling. I wont be buying it again. *** EDIT *** After five months Ive come to feel a little better about this tape. Its still finicky, but it works decently if you are careful with it. In some ways its not a bad option as you get more on a roll which is better value and better for the environment. Im sure some will still hate it, but it is definitely usable. Upgrading my review from two stars to four.

> 3 dayWe use a lot of this tape. This 4 pack was perfect. The price was good, the amount was good; we do not have a lot of room where we package for storage, but we do not want to resupply every few weeks. The tape is great quality.

> 3 dayI’ve certainly had better. Very thin, easily gets cloudy and yuck as soon as you unroll to use, not as strong as you expect it be

> 3 dayThis is a good value purchase for packaging tape. It is good. I am used to using the thicker HD version of this brands tape and I will be going back to it. I prefer the heavier tape and how much easier it is to work with. This one is good but not my favorite. I recommend a tape gun.

> 3 dayFor it to be Duct tape brand, Id expected it to be a little thicker, but so far, its sticking once u hold it down to get that seam sealed on a box. Would probably buy again because the price was good.

> 3 dayI don’t write many reviewers, especially for commodity items, but feel inclined when I think a product is really quite poor. I have a nice tape gun and this tape jams in my gun all of the time, and is so thin that it gets all jumbled up with itself. I end up cutting off and throwing away about 10% of what I use. Lastly, after tappping the box, one day later the tape is peeling off the box on its own. I have used some tapes that one strip feels sufficient to seal the box but I feel the need to hit it multiple times with this tape.
