> 3 dayI thought this would be good tape since it’s Duck Tape brand but it doesn’t stick to my boxes. All of the boxes I packed over the past few months has all come loose. So frustrating.

Greater than one weekBought this thinking it was the same as the tape dispenser I bought. It isnt, apparently. Duck apparently makes HP260 which is solid and *this*, which, I dont know who isnt buying this by mistake, cause its worthless crap. The roll came with bumps and deformities, making it more difficult to find where the tape begins, and when you finally do, youll consistently just start tearing chunks off the end instead of getting a pull on the tape. Its far too thin for the amount of adhesion. Unhappily, this problem returns literally every time you set the tape down. Im just going to throw the rest of this away. Its not worth the minutes of my life spent struggling to get a decent piece of tape off of it.

09-06-2025Usually Duck brand tape is heavier and easier to use, this item is quite thin and tangles easily. Still seals the boxes just fine so well keep but just know this is not the heavy stuff.

> 3 dayI use a tape holder and have no issues. The tape is thick enough and stays put. I have even used it for minor repairs. The 4 pack is a great value as well.

> 3 daySeems to stick ok once it’s on but super frustrating to use, is thin, feels flimsy and crackly. And whatever you do don’t let it stick on itself because you’ll waste a bunch trying to get it back off.

11-06-2025Thinner than expected but does the job. I used it for moving and shipping. Youd need to tape over multiple parts of the box (over the opening and a few perpendicular to it over the sides) to be secure. I used a tape gun to apply it which saved a lot of time - otherwise youd be shredding it trying to get it started. Even with the tape gun it was crazy noisy. If youre bougie and like a quieter tape (have young kids, thin walls, whatever floats your boat I guess) I recommend the Duck Tape HD. Way better overall but pricier to reflect it.

> 3 dayA bit too flimsy - gone are the days when packaging tapes were durable and not super flimsy. Adhesion is also quite weak - my double-taped (cross pattern) bottom of moving box just fell out when I picked up a box weighing about 8 lbs. When I compare this to my movers tape, its like 1/10th of the thickness and adhesion. Ill be looking for a different packaging tape!
