> 24 hourSo I found the best way to use this is in layers. I have a leopard gecko tank. I bought coconut fiber and laid that down first, then moss and bark. Definitely keeps the humidity in for a nice shead. For the size this is a little pricey. But it looks really nice and I think my girls like the moss more than just coconut fiber alone.

> 24 hourThis is a good quality substrate for your reptile tank. I like that the moss and the bark come separately. That way you can add it the way that you see fit.

> 24 hourMy bearded dragon and ball Python love digging around in this stuff. You really don’t need to wet it because they walk/slither around in their water and get it wet all on their own so it creates the extra humidity they like. I think it will really help with the shedding process too.

> 24 hourI really like the substrate for my crested gecko. It’s a really nice quality and it has everything I need to make her habitat look natural. She seems to really like this substrate. This is well worth it and I will be getting it again.

> 24 hourWe are using this Bark/Moss Substrate & Bedding for our Outdoor Terrarium that houses our Eastern Box Turtle. Her name is Yoshi. She actually enjoys hiding out in the mossy part in the afternoon & in the morning you will find her sunning out on the bark portion of the substrate catching some sun rays. I would say this Particular Mixture was a GREAT combination for our Turtle. I can say this Substrate/Bedding is 100% AUTHENTIC & REAL. (What you see in my photos is nothing but this Substrate of Moss & Bark) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product!

> 24 hourLike other reviewers, I was surprised by how small the bag of DUSPRO 24 QUARTS Reptile Substrate Moss Mix Bark was. I am a regular Zoo Med Reptibark user and thought Id try this for a change of pace. While I dont have a complaint about the quality of the product, Reptibarks 24 quart bag appears to be much more generous than DUSTPROs 24 quart bag.

> 24 hourWOW - Good quality substrate at a great price - what more could You ask? Arrives in one bag with 2 substrates bagged separately inside of it (which is nice as You can mix or tailor it to your liking). Bark is actually really decent, not dusty and busted up like most of the stuff from the Big Box Pet Stores. Definitely a 5-star for Value and Quality!

> 24 hourI am trying to make the ground cover for my outdoor enclosure for my box turtle as natural as possible. This reptile substrate is one of the materials I use.

> 24 hourLooking at the photos, which is always hard to judge size, I thought there would be more included in the bag. The moss is compressed which was amazing. The bark and moss came in separately sealed bags, but the pine bark was very thin and broke open as I was removing it. At this point, I was very glad the bag wasnt as big as I was expecting because I was cleaning bark off my carpet. The moss is nice, but it doesnt hold the moisture like I was hoping for. It could be the type of moss and I am no moss expert, but I was hoping I could soak it and have it hold moisture. The bark chunks are fairly large and I know they are supposed to be Pine, but they seem to splinter and cause slivers more than I expected Pine to do. I ended up not using the bark in my Ball Pythons cage, but did spread some of the moss around for looks and to add to the substrate a little. I would NOT call this an adequate substrate for any reptile, but I would classify it as an add in product to a good substrate.

> 24 hourMy tortoise really liked this bedding matetial. Its thick and rocky and gives him something to explore and climb on in addition to his coconut fiber.
