Busted heater on a prusa (24v system, E3Dv6 hot end). This fixed it right up. Nice long cable, with the ends helpfully ferruled

Does the job. Replaced my old one on a Prusa i3 MK3S that got ruined by a blob incident. The wires I got are white.

I cant blame the product, It was an original product from E3D (verified by them). Turns out Prusa (mk3s) uses a specific version of this product. Hence the color coding is different, red for Prusa and white here, while red is supposed to be 24v 20w on the official e3d spec. Long story short, this is not the right product for a Prusa mk3, but it worked for me for a while before it started failing causing resets, so kudos for making it this far.

How was thrown off by the white wires as well however I got my order from reputable reseller printed solid and also came with white cables, seems like e3d has switched colors, just wanted to assure whoever buys this and gets white colored wires not to worry also you could tell if its genuine e3d if there is writing on it and the ends are sealed and beveled unlike cheap Chinese which are hollow slightly

Same spec, 24v 40w as my original heater cartridge. Cable is longer than the original so no lack of space. Mine came in white. Worked first time and heated all the way up to 290c for nozzle install without issue. Just bought the cheapest one, did not select seller.

Of the two that I ordered the one that was actually a 24v cartridge works as expected. The second one that I ordered had a label of 24v on the card in the package but was actually a 12v cartridge. I didnt check the label on the cartridge before installing it in my printer and spent a ton of time troubleshooting before I took it back out of the printer and realized that it was the wrong version. I requested a replacement because I want a spare and the second one that was sent was also labeled as 24v but was again a 12v. I then had to spend time running all over town returning the two 12v cartridges because for some reason Amazon would not let me return both of them at the same location.

This works well in my Prusa i3 MK3S. Theres not much more to say than that. It replaced the one that my printer came with after I broke the connection to the old one when trying to hot tighten my nozzle. One thing to note is that I was sent a white one, not a red one as shown. I dont know if the items description says colors may vary, or not. And, really, how much of the cable do I see? And, really, do I even care? Also, Ive noticed that the hot end tends to shoot past the target temp by about 2-3 degrees C before settling back down. I dont remember if the old one did that, so Im just assuming it did, and that this one is no different.

heats as fast as the original one i had, but it should.

A powerful little beast of a heater. Get rid of fragile and poorly-toleranced enamel resistors and switch to a purpose-made high-power ceramic heater cartridge. Get your hotend hot quickly and hit the highest of temperatures. Comes with a meter of silicone insulated high temperature wire. Length: 20mm Diameter: 6mm Lead Length: 1000mm
