> 24 hourMy 1990 model Rheem air conditioner compressor consistently took 91 amps to start. After installing the micro air easy start and evaluating its performance for over 500 cycles now, it averages 27 amps to start and although it claims not to lower running amps, those to have dropped from 17.5 to 15.7 on average. The significance is that now during a power outage I can start and run my central AC on either my gas powered 7000 watt generator or my solar powered 6000 watt off grid inverter. I couldn’t be happier with this product. Sunshine = Middle fingers up to the the power monopoly’s !!!

> 24 hourThese are stupendously expensive but do actually work very well indeed. Has taken a lot of strain off of my solar inverter. The only bad things about it are very short Bluetooth range and the fact that it is on the load side of the contactor so you can only see whats happening when your AC is actually on.

> 24 hourInstalled on my homes 3.5 Ton 16 seer Trane condensing unit ahead of summer. For the last 2 years I have been trying to identify an electrical issue which occurs when my ac cycles during my home generators weekly test. The air conditioner would run rough and very noisy, sometimes trip itself out on thermal overload. I couldn’t figure It out until I noticed the LRA was 10 amps higher than my generator is rated to produce. A YouTube video from Engineer775 I happened to catch by luck pointed me in the right direction. My results are as follows. I could not believe the RLA in the sticker is 110. I measured 109-112 through my amp clamp. Two years of a mystery why my condenser would make horrible starting noises when running on my home 20kw generator. Preliminary testing shows 24.5 max inrush according to my fluke meter (same meter from initial inrush testing) now that the soft start was installed. My running issues are gone. My lights don’t dim and my condenser runs smooth. I’m impressed to say the least. I have yet to venture into the app and the Bluetooth features but will soon.

> 24 hourMy 3 ton air conditioner was making a couple of our house lights dim when the air came on. The condenser compressor would always start with a loud noise. After I installed the Easy Start Micro Air 368 the lights dont dim anymore, and the condenser compressor is quiet! I highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourI am at 6,700 starts on my Heatpump since installing . I love this product . I can now use my Generator to run the heatpump . Avg startup current is about 37amps , down from 67 Amps .Then after start it runs around 12-13 amps . Besides the ability to use a Generator to start . Now my heatpump starts quietly , Its far easier on the unit itself with softstarts , and im saving a bunch on electricity as well so now the easy start has become Free. I installed myself as i am an inside Wireman by trade .

> 24 hourI have a 3 ton ac and this specific device works on up to 4 ton. I live in florida and was experiencing hard starts when running on a 13k whole house generator. Due to these hard starts I encountered early failures on both my condenser and blower fans. They failed months after using my generator. This Im told was due to spinup during starting with low power due to the power strain. If you plan on running your home ac with a generator this device is a necessary. Install easystart first then check your max startup amp draw with the bluetooth app and then buy an appropriate size generator. This device will let u buy a much smaller generator which will use less gas which is a game changer. Easy install only 4 wires. I recommend buying the install kit My startup amp draw went from 79 amps to 27.2 amps with easystart. Wow!!!! I highly recommend this device My ac startup is now whisper quiet

> 24 hourThis was an excellent investment at $389. The AC start up current pull was in the 70ies. After installation it dropped to mid 30ies on my 4 ton ac. It was easy to install. Watch the Utube vid for easy instructions. The reason for purchase was so my 11,000 watt generator would start my AC. It worked great.

> 24 hourThis device reduced my inrush current that allows me run a 4 ton central unit, a 3 ton central unit and a 2hp well pump on a 15kw Generac generator. The Hutch Mountain customer service was outstanding.

> 24 hourTook my 4 ton AC from inrush amps of 98 to 40. This really works!
