Hood would not stay up. Local parts store wanted $34 for one, not the pair. These were an exact replacement and only took about 5 minutes to install.

These worked great but its the second set I purchased the first was from a differant seller they said fit but was to long the second set got was a amazon prime item that worked great buy from Amazon not third party...the 3 star for longevity was because I just got them who knows longevity after a week or so

Replaced my old ones these popped on easy and it made such a difference. I need to be careful opening my hood now because it nearly flew up into my face the first time I tested after the install. Great product matched the original part well on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Easy to install, good price, holds my hood up so it dont smack me in the head and dont have to use a piece of wood to hold the hood up. Only get four stars because I just got them will let you know how well they last

Just snapped them on and was amazed at how strong they are. I only lifted the hood a few inches and the struts took over and raised it the rest of the way.

Installed on a 2004 Grand Cherokee. Direct replacement. Hood opens with authority now! If they fail in outside of 30mo, I will call it a win. If they fail earlier, I will update my review....
