Hood would not stay up. Local parts store wanted $34 for one, not the pair. These were an exact replacement and only took about 5 minutes to install.

Much less expensive than the mopar shocks and work just as well. Replaced work hood lift shocks on my ‘04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.

They work great! Watched YouTube video to learn how to replace old lifts! Im an old woman, but it was pretty easy. Clips are pretty tight on new ones, used a rubber mallet to pop it in the hood knob. Put these on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Checked prices at several local auto parts stores and was shocked at how much they wanted for them.

2004 Jeep Cherokee, snapped right on. Hood now opens like a boss.

I dont officially know the quality but these work and were much cheaper than oe or local parts stores and in my opinion they support the hood much better vs any other parts lift supports Ive used in the past

They went on great seem to lift the hood great. As far as longevity, I just put them on so dont know.

the fit nice on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.now i can life the hood up with one finger now., easy as a,b,c & 1,2,3 to install.

simple item. Easy install. Good lift. Well see how they hold up. Fit my 01 GC correctly. Nuff said
