I would not be surprised if this manufacture makes the replacements for GM. Every thing about it looks just like the original, except it is not broken and does not have the GM numbers stamped inside. Some YouTube sites show removing complete console to replace lid. You dont need to. You can push the hinge pin out and replace new top with bottom of console still in place.

Couldnt see giving this more than 2 stars because the reason I purchased this replacement lid because my original lid had broken and wouldnt stay open on its own. The installation was extremely easy however, once installed I tested it for functionality and the new springs that came with it wouldnt keep the lid open either. So I had to uninstall it and replace the new springs with the original springs from my old lid and they worked where the new ones didnt. Overall though the lid looks great and resembles the stock one I replaced. So in short 2 stars due to bad springs.

I’ve replaced this on my truck a couple times over the years. I think it’s worth the money for a couple years of use before it starts coming apart.

Looks like OE lid, soooooooo easy to install. Color and fit is perfect.

All the needed parts were there, and the install was about 10 minutes! Of course, I ordered the wrong color, but convinced my wife that the dark grey looks better!

Got it for my dads truck. It was easy to replace. Looks and works great.
