> 3 dayI’ve only had this for a few months, my baby has barely played with it, and the paint is chipping, with paint chips in the toy. Not safe for children, let alone babies. I cannot recommend and wish I could get a refund.

Greater than one weekI bought this toy for my grand daughter when she was just under 7 months. It was interesting to observe that she showed no understanding of putting the all in the hole at first, but loved to watch me do it. As her brain developed further in just a few months I watched her suddenly know how to put the ball in the hole and look in to see where it went. It always delights her when it comes out in the tray, and she loves to repeat the process over and over. The toy is well made, sturdy, and attractive. Well worth the money, especially compared to all the toys for 6-12 months that requires very little in the way of brain development such as those thousands of toys that make noise and require little participation from the child.

Greater than one weekThis is a great Montessori Object Permanence Box. The one we received does not have sharp edges, and is very sturdy. It is made from a ply wood, which is appropriate given the price. I dont mind that it is plywood, most furniture these days isnt even made out of something as nice as ply. I really like that there is a sort of internal ramp and that there are pieces on the inside that guide the ball to the opening. The ball always comes out. My only complaint is that I prefer toys made from natural materials as much as possible, which is one of the main reasons I chose this product. Why then skimp and provide a plastic whiffle ball? I have tossed the ball that comes with this and replaced it with a wooden sphere instead.
