> 24 hourA vent cover is just something that you use to cover the vent holes in your floor. There are some that are rather flimsy. These are nothing like that. Theyre heavy duty and sturdier than anything Ive ever had in my house. The nickel finish is beautiful. Empire Register has enough various designs on their vent covers that youll be able to find one that matches your style.

> 24 hourUpgrading from a rusted white simple floor register this thing looks damn near futuristic. Money well spent.

> 24 hourFirstly, this looks great on the gray tile floor in my bathroom (sorry no pic). I did notice that the cheap white one I removed was a little larger than this one. The old one left a rust stain on the tile that is now visible which is a down side. I thought this would be a little heavier but seems well built. It functions and looks great aside from the rust stain that old one left. It fit the hole perfectly with no adjustments needed.

> 24 hourThe top and bottom, both parts are metal and are very solid, can easily withstand everyday life or being stepped on. The product is very well made. Talk about simple installation, just open the pack and it drops right in place, there is no need of any screws. I was impressed by the quality of the product itself. It does have vents you can open/close for flow of air. Much nicer than the picture and well worth the cost. There are no rough edges. It is perfectly levelled so it sits flat without any gaps. I will definitely be looking to replace a few more of these in my home.

> 24 hourI like geometric designs for floor registers. This ones got a really interesting look. You can see the one Im replacing in the photos I posted. I like that design as well. But that one rusted like crazy in just a couple years. Now granted, that location is in a bathroom. But Im still disappointed in the amount of rust and how fast is rusted. I hope the lacquer coating on this one holds up better. The old register also had all plastic fins. And the damper mechanism was all plastic. It was also designed in a way that suppressed air flow. This new register seems to be a clear upgrade in all those areas... metals damper fins and mechanism, plus a wide open airflow. Its also very easy to make adjustments. It fit my opening very easily but slightly snug, which is perfect. It sits flat on all four sides with no rocking. Packaging was really good so it arrived in pristine condition. The brushed nickel finish matches perfectly with our other fixtures. Overall, Im super-happy with this new register. Love the geometric design. Seems really well made with good quality materials and finishes. Well-designed damper mechanism, good air flow, and super-simple to install. Price-point is a bit high compared to alternative products. But based on the obvious quality, its definitely worth a few extra bucks. I just hope the protective lacquer coating stands up to the moisture and traffic in the bathroom, which is where other registers have failed.

> 24 hourThe register is well built and feels sturdy. The matt finish is nice -- a slight texture which I like. I hope it holds up over time. I appreciated that the louvers were metal instead of the plastic other brands use. Installation was a breeze. The only problem is that I still need a register for another room, but it is out of stock in the size and design I want. For a product of this quality I am willing to wait.

> 24 hourThe registers from Empire are much nicer than expected and look so much more expensive than they are. The black matte finish blends well with our new walnut LVP flooring and makes all the finishes in our home appear more expensive. They open and close easily, no struggling; so much better than the builder grade registers Ive had in the past. I cant yet tell you how well the Empire registers will hold up over time, but my husband and I are delighted with them right now.
