Ender 3 Hotend, Authentic Creality Assembled Hotend Kit 3D Printer Parts with 5X 0.4mm Nozzles for Ender 3 Ender 3 V2 and Ender 3 Pro

After breaking something (probably a thermistor lead) in my original 3Max hotend, I decided to replace the whole unit and worry about fixing the original one later. The whole process took an hour or so--maybe 10 screws, a beer and a little cussing. Its all pretty obvious where things go but rerouting the wires though the mesh is a pain. To save yourself some aggravation, tape the ends of the wire bundle together to help keep it from separating or getting stuck when putting the new wires back through the sleeve. I was back up and printing in no time.

Like so many others, I had the hot end ceramic heater fail on my years old OG E3, so replacement was necessary. I was pleased when this arrived. Everything was exactly as it was in the OEM version. Comes with the full hot end, including a silicone sleeve (much better than Kapton and Fiberglass), fittings, clips, and more. The replacement fittings were definitely appreciated. Even the thermistor wires seem OEM. Unfortunately, its also the OEM Bowden. Replace that with Capricorn tubing. One thing that could make this even better would be a small cap over the wires. Running them through the mesh tubing can be a bit of a pain, as the wire ends get stuck. A cap could help alleviate that. A tip: dont forget to snip all the zip ties and tip the machine for ease of access. All in all, Im very pleased with both the price and quality and would definitely buy again.

Works as intended on my Neptune 2S

Mine was red - I read other reviews saying theirs was silver so I thought Id mention it. Four stars for ease of use as it took me a moment to install, but once I got the plugs figured out it was a breeze. Ill also mention that this is a direct replacement part, so all the wires end in the corresponding/necessary connectors. The pictures dont really show that, and I know some out there might be hesitant about it if theyre not super technically savvy - if you assembled your Ender, you can easily install this. I feel like it works better than the original, but that could just be that I was happy it wasnt broken anymore. Bonus, it also comes with extra nozzles and some silicone heat shields, which are always welcome. TLDR: if you need to replace your hotend on your Ender 3 Pro, this is perfect a plugnplay replacement.
