Endurox R4 Tangy Orange 4.56 lbs

Greater than one weekI love this stuff. The tangy orange is the best flavor too. Ive had the Chocolate, which is bearable but not great and the Lemon-line (the green kind...I think its called Lemon lime), which is pretty good too. But the orange is just satisfying after a long ride and/or run.

Greater than one weekGood for people doing pretty lengthy workouts, either long continous lifting sessions or 1 hour or more cardio sessions. Tastes pretty good, but pretty high calories compared to some others. Works like a charm though if you take it immediately after you workout.

> 3 dayI bought this recovery formula to replace and existing one that was getting a bit too expense to be taking so regularly. After much research and reading reviews I tried this one and so far I like it. First the price is great in comparison to what I was buying before and second the variety of flavors is great. I bought tangy orange for the first tub and it is quite tangy almost a bit sour on the after taste but not bad, I would definitely recommend this product to others. As for performance of the drink it is too early for me to say that it does or does not do the job but I can say that I am not losing energy while working out day after day.

> 3 dayI am not a triathlete or a marathon runner or a gym rat. Im middle aged, a bit overweight but still need to get my exercise. My diet does not include a lot of meat, which means getting enough protein is often an issue for me. Biking is my primary form of exercise followed by hiking. Most of my miles are easy miles, commuting to work 9 miles each way. I try to get longer rides in on the weekend which helps build endurance and muscles. But I find that as I get older, the longer rides take their toll on me. I feel them the next day for sure. So I decided to take the plunge and try recovery product. I dont drink milk, so chocolate milk is out. To make it easy, I decided to try a product specifically designed as a recovery drink rather than to cobble together food. I purchased a big jug of R4 a few months ago and I can tell the difference! If I ride for more than 1 hour, I will have a single scoop after the ride. I scale up to 2 scoops for 2 hours of activity. I cant stand the taste of most of the protein powder drinks Ive tried (Ensure is OK), and was pleasantly surprised when the I first tasted the orange flavor. It really does dissolve in cold water (I probably use more water than the directions indicate) and it tasted pretty good. No funny chemical or after tastes. My legs feel like new the next morning. I was off the bike for a couple of months and the first long (35 mile) really left my legs rubbery. A 2 scoop serving of R4 and the next morning I could hardly tell I had ridden the previous day. On the other hand, I went on a 2.5 hour hike, then had stuff to do and had no recovery drink and my legs were really hurting the next day. I love R4 and it seems to be working for me. I recommend trying a few single serving packets and see if it makes a difference. Its for regular people too.

> 3 dayI like this product - its a little pricey - almost 4-star pricey. I keep buying it hoping it will encourage me to work out more. It hasnt solved that problem yet.

> 3 dayIve been using endurox as part of my endurance training for years now. No other recovery/protein product that Ive used has performed as well as endurox. Recovery time is almost miraculous. I think they grind up little enchanted fairies to put in this stuff. Its also the BEST tasting protein drink I have ever used.

Greater than one weekI usually do an hour to an hour and a half on the elliptical and the product always helps me recover the day after a hard workout.
