My husband is undergoing cancer treatment and is unable to eat. He lost a lot of weight and the dietitian suggested that he try this product. He drinks 2 or 3 a day and likes the vanilla flavor. The only downside is that it’s not covered by insurance and it’s not inexpensive.

Tastes good but too much sugar! Was suggested by onocoloy dept I go to. Chocolate tastes better than vanilla as its not as sweet. Should of looked at ingredients before buying, 2nd ingredient is corn syrup. Terrible.

Tastes just like the original Ensure and we notice no difference in our health over the original. It is a few dollars more expensive and the label claims more of an ingredient called HMB. This is stated to help maintain muscle mass. Again...after consuming a few cases we notice no difference. It is good as a lower calorie meal replacement and it does offer to fill in some nutritional gaps. Because it is Lactose and Gluten free, we will continue its use and possibly gain some benefits by it.

My grandmother is 88 years old and her doctor said she needed more protein. He suggested we start her on these and shes been loving them. She drinks two per day and it seems to be helping her. She has tried all three flavors and says they are all great but she enjoys the strawberry the most. I would recommend this to anyone who an elderly family member.

GOOD PRODUCT. TOO EXPENSIVE.

My husband needs to gain weight after a bone marrow transplant and the hospital got us started on Ensure. Once home, I turned to Amazon to find the vanilla flavor he liked and voila! There it was and two days later, I had plenty of it in stock at home for the patient. Delivery was quick and the product is a life-saver!

I like it and used it after surgery. I wish it had less sugar.
