> 3 dayWe are extremely pleased with this home cinema. The picture is bright and clear, even when the room is not totally dark. It is a huge improvement over our former home cinema projector. We highly recommend it!

> 3 dayWe installed this in a new media room weve built, and it has exceeded all our expectations. The picture quality is outstanding, far better than I expected even from a projector that touts 4K resolution. The bulb is also nice and bright, and the picture is easily visible even with the theater lighting turned all the way up in the room. We easily integrated the projector into a surround sound system, as well as a multiport HDMI switch to allow easy changes, and there were no issues at all from the Epson with handling the inputs/outputs. The projector was a little interesting to get mounted and aimed. Our mounting position was slightly off center, with a relatively short throw of 16 for a 110 screen. The on projector dials, and the digital controls were not wholly intuitive, so it took about an hour to get the screen dialed in where the image was crisp and properly square. We hit the adjustment limit a couple times as well, so it took some repeated adjustments in several places to get it there. That said, once it was set, its been two months and its been rock solid without any issues.

> 3 dayI am in a completely dark space, using on eco mode, and it is plenty bright. I am currently using an older receiver, so I cant comment on 4k, but everything, from streaming to BluRay to Red Dead Redemption 2, has looked great thus far. I cant imagine spending $5k+ for true 4k. Movies and games in HD are so amazing @ 135 that needing higher resolution for the non-OCD among us seems a little silly. Very little visible screen door, plenty bright, and the only time I really notice a resolution difference (vs led panel) is with live sports. But this seems pretty great, bang for the buck. At the rate Im going, my bulb will be dead in a year, but thats a good thing. It will be hard to play Xbox on anything else now...

> 3 dayHeavy nice projector. The brightness is perfect which allows you not to have to sit in complete darkness to see a nice picture. Just plug it in and start watching movies. I recommend that you use high quality HDMI cables to get the best picture. I upgraded my Verizon cable box to 4K and could not get a picture and the same with my 4K DVD player. I tried everything but Epson support helped and suggested changing the cables and it worked perfectly. It turned out that cables that were installed in the theater room when the house was built (8 years ago) were out dated.

> 3 dayFamily loves this projector. We are enjoying the warm evenings with movie nights almost daily. It plays action shows without a hitch and volume/fan is fine. No need to get extra speakers I highly recommend this item.

> 3 dayMy 2 yr old LG smart LED projector died from what I suspect was a lighting surge - so after being unable to find a repair shop that could even look at it, I decided to buy this Epson projector. I’ve had excellent experience with other Epson printers in past and they seem to be one of the leaders in the market. We are extremely pleased with it so far. Pros: - image quality and brightness - warranty period - solid build quality (made in Philippines) - kind of subjective but still important to me. - easy setup and adjustability. - low noise on eco mode. On brighter mode it’s more noticeable on quiet movies but still not distracting. Cons: - a bit pricey... - bulkier than our old projector - had to replace the bracket for a stronger one. - having trouble to power off projector from fire stick 4K remote - power on is no problem. May be a fire stick issue. - the manual is on line so keep a device handy during install because navigating menus and setup required manual. - life expectancy of bulb About our setup: - ceiling mount (upside down - very simple menu pick to flip image) using the Epson bracket sold separately for 100 or so dollars. Very solid bracket by the way installed easily. - I installed a surge protector outlet in the ceiling (Leviton) to prevent same fate as first projector. This avoids the ugly look of a surge protector - install took about 1.5 hour or so. Included putting up new bracket and surge outlet - and adjusting picture. - 110 inch screen. Mounted projector about 12-13 ft from screen. - using with fire stick 4K but Slight issue with power off from the fire stick remote. - set to eco mode Overall very pleased with purchase and experience. Recommended.

> 3 dayThe projector says “No Signal” from HDMI even though there is an incoming signal and the cable has been tested and works as expected. I’ve tested the other components in the AVR system and the projector is component that’s failing. I hope Epson or Amazon will send a replacement.

17-04-2025I started using a projector full time recently. My original one was inexpensive, but it was pretty good. I decided to upgrade to get one with more brightness. I wasn’t disappointed with my decision. It works great. I can even watch it with all my lights on in the room. Also, the remote works soooooo much better than the previous one.

Greater than one weekDont let the specs on the cheap Amazon projectors fool you. This projector at 2900 lumens WAY outshined the WiMiUS projector I bought that claimed to be 9000 lumes (theres a 0% change it was anywhere near 9000 lumens - more like 1200-1500 tops.) With projectors, you get what you pay for. If your plan is to get a movie quality experience in your living room, DO NOT go cheap. Get an Epson or something name brand.

> 3 dayPurchased this second projector for our bedroom, projecting on a DIY painted screen. Picture quality is fantastic. Fan is audible but not annoying. This new unit noticeably outperforms our original Epson 3900 projector which is running in the basement.
