ESAB Halo Sentinel A50 Automatic Welding Helmet 0700000800 with Free Accessories

Great high quality hood. It shows every effort has been taken in designing this hood which makes it the bar to beat. It has the looks and feel of a high quality piece of equipment. I have had and used many other auto darkening hoods some costing much more than this one and it runs rings around them all. I thought that my current hood was the best until l tried this one, not even close. Welding with this hood is like true living color, and the clarity is perfect. The ease of use is fantastic and finally no more painful flashes, because you dont have to turn it on just put it on and weld. It also has a warning light visible with the hood down letting you know it is in grind mode. The digital display is straight forward and easy to use and has more than enough memory space to save all your different settings for other tasks. The headband is easy to adjust and even enough adjustment for my big nose, now no more fogging or smudging the lens with my nose. I can now also get the angle right so l can see through my bifocals without tilting my head trying to see with them. I can go on and on and there is just nothing to say negative about this hood. If you are in the market or just want a good hood you cannot go wrong with this one. Anyone writing a negative on this hood must have been brain dead from welding fumes. Show me any other helmet manufacturer that gives 100 days to find something wrong or your money back. They not only build the best they stand behind it, its a no brainer.

Helmet has a 3 year warranty neither esab or Kentucky toolwork want to replace it no response from seller esab just keeps on apologizing and said the can’t do anything about

Finally I can see my mig weld bead due to lighter dark setting that cheaper helmets dont have.

This helmet is awesome, works better than expected. The clarity is amazing, honestly from fit up to laying beads i dont have to lift the lid up. Welding with it is even better, it doesnt have a green tint like other helmets and being able to adjust the shade is a big plus when switching between tig, mig, or ark.

It’s feels regular weigh and it’s confortable not as comfortable as an optrell but it’s lens it’s great very comfortable on the eyes it’s pretty good for the money
