Ive gone 6 years without ever needing one of these. There are 5 years between my youngest and my oldest. With my first I honestly never needed a baby cage because she wasnt a trouble maker and was generally easy to manage while accomplishing my own tasks around the home. I literally had to baby proof nothing. But THIS baby, as we call him danger-bud is prone to danger. He is obsessed with stairs, the stove, scaling things and licking electrical outlets. Its a lot harder to keep him alive than my first. Weve had this setup in the kitchen for a few weeks along with some padded floor tiles to protect him from the concrete floor. Hes generally not too upset when I put him in his caged space. He tries to scale it and tries to shake it down but its held up to his escape tactics. This allows me up to 30 minutes of time to make dinner, clean the kitchen, and generally get stuff done. I didnt realize when I ordered it that it also has stakes at the bottom so you can secure it to an outside area. We dont have a yard but are moving soon and wouldnt mind using this outside as well. This was such a great purchase I wish I would have gotten it sooner. We wont get as much use out of it since hes my last kiddo...so maybe well just have to get a puppy to pass it on to!

My child loves this and so do I. I was hesitant to buy this because of the reviews but I am glad I did. This play space gives my child room to be more independent and it gives me peace of mind knowing she is in a safe space. The playgate is plastic and my child has fallen when she tired to stand but I have never had any issues with the plastic being too sharp or something to cut her she has been just fine. The gate can be easily opened and easily shaped to whatever space you need.

I keep my pet out of my kitcken while I am cooking or any rooms that off limits. Good for small pet, easy to lock and open.

I bought this to put around our Christmas tree in order to keep my toddler away from the tree. It was a much cheaper option than a lot of other playpens recommended for that purpose. It worked. But since Christmas we have used it as a playpen. Its only so-so as a playpen. When my toddler leans against it, as she does all the time, the whole thing tilts. Nothing bad has happened, but it probably shouldnt do that. Worked great for the Christmas tree though!

I use this indoor and outdoors. I use it indoor as a barrier between the kitchen and living room. I use it outdoors to keep the pup inside the patio area. Very good quality, easy to fold up and move around (though bulky), easy to transition between spaces. I bought it for $69 and would buy another if I could to add on to mine, but the price has gone up considerably since purchasing two months ago.

Gate is easy to set up, flexible in spaces it can be set up in, and somewhat easy to get in and out of (difficult to open with one hand). Its a little flimsy and doesnt stand up to pressure at all, so you do need at least partial support from a wall or something sturdy to avoid movement or a fall. Its worked for us, wedged between our couch/ottoman on one side and between a chair and cabinet on the other and gives our little one free reign of the living room.

Already had a complete Evenflo play yard set, but wanted to give our puppy more room, so we bought this 2 piece extension. Locks into the original play yard set and more spacious. Love it.

Bought to keep our baby from pulling ornaments off the tree. The 6 sided one fits perfectly around the tree.

I purchased this Evenflo baby gate because we purchased a new home and don’t want our large dogs (136 pounds being the heaviest) scratching the paint and wood of the doors at the nice house like they have done at our old house. The gate comes in 6 sections of panels with a connecting hinge between each, so it can completely encircle something. There is a white “button” or mechanism on the top of the hinge that you have to press really hard and then muscle it apart. If I had to find a critique about this baby gate, it would be that it is difficult to disassemble. For me, I only had to do it twice (once for each section), so it wasn’t a problem. The hinges snap to a variety of positions, which makes them very stable. If they didn’t snap to the different angles, they would be easier to collapse by putting pressure on the corners or sides. I was able to use the one gate I ordered to form a barrier around the single side porch door, and the remaining four panels to surround the double back doors. The panels are tall enough that the dogs see it as a barrier, and it was easy to train them to avoid it, but short enough that I can lean over it to put food down. The gate is light and stable enough that I can reposition it with one hand without it collapsing. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and highly recommend this Evenflo pet/baby gate. 5/5 stars
