> 24 hourOEM Payne 1/3 HP blower went out, A/C service tech diagnosed the issue quoted $1200 for the replacement from Carrier. Took a chance on this unit, its not listed as a direct replacement on Genteqs website. The only difference I found was that the shaft is an inch longer. The unit was easy to install and per the instructions upon startup it figures out which direction to spin. It works as it should all the connections in my case were the same, plug and play. I cant speak on reliability or longevity, but for the cost well worth it.

> 24 hourPerfect replacement for burned out 10 year old motor at a fraction of the cost. Easy to change if you’re technically inclined, my existing wiring harness plugged right in. My AC hasn’t blown this much air, this strong since I’ve owned this house (of course this is the first day it has been used) I Will update this review if anything changes after a few weeks of running it.

> 24 hourMotor was an exact replacement for a failed blower motor in a Carrier residential HVAC system. Fit and worked perfectly. AC technician quoted $750 to replace motor. DIY cost was $214. Took about 20 minutes to remove blower from unit and about the same amount of time to reinstall blower after swapping out motor.

> 24 hourThis was a perfect replacement for my old carrier air handler motor, identical in every way to the original. Simply plug in the leads and turn on the power. I saved over $1000 by doing this myself.
