> 3 dayHVAC tech came and diagnosed problem as the EMC in the blower motor. Quoted $300+ just for the EMC, & $600+ to replace the motor, and then $250 for installation. Ordered Evergreen blower motor for $210, my husband installed it himself, and within 4 minutes, our heat was working just fine. Would definitely order again! Saved us A LOT of money

> 3 dayPerfect replacement for burned out 10 year old motor at a fraction of the cost. Easy to change if you’re technically inclined, my existing wiring harness plugged right in. My AC hasn’t blown this much air, this strong since I’ve owned this house (of course this is the first day it has been used) I Will update this review if anything changes after a few weeks of running it.

> 3 dayAmazing. Motor was a perfect fit. Easy to install, total time to swap out the motor was about an hour. System is running great and quieter than old motor. Saved me a ton of money over dealer installed motor.

Greater than one weekWe have a York AC/Heat Pump Model AHX30B3XH21 YHJF24S41S1 made in 2009. The blower stopped working although we did not use the AC unit very often because it is for the sun room facing the north. The OEM motor would cost $690. This blower motors spec matches with the original. So I ordered it online. The repairman was able to replace the motor in about an hour. Now the AC unit works properly. I am glad that this product is available through Amazon.

Greater than one weekGreat replacement for my carrier system, but not the best. Quality seems lacking. Where my original and more expensive motor had the shaft perfectly placed in the middle of the hole, this shaft was literally touching a little on one edge of the hole. I was even worried before installed, but everything seemed to work fine. This motor is louder, period. It is ok, but it is louder no doubt. I believe this is mainly due to the fact this motor spins 25x times more per minute vs the original. Also, quality is lacking, so a bit lauder. I also noticed the extra airflow due to the extra rpm, but this hasnt affected the way my AC functions. I have mixed feeling about this, but I guess Ill get used to it. And this is why I wanted you to read, nobody seems to mention these basic and super important points in my opinion. Would I recommend it? Sure! I rather have this vs the original, considering the original costs twice or more. I have never done this before, and I did it successfully, no need to use the included electrical harness. Everything was connected the same vs older motor. So dont be afraid if you never done it, theres always a first time for everything. Edit: Motor still working fine after a couple of weeks. I forgot to mention this motor will stop immediately after your compressor outside stops. Usually your blower motor will run for about a minute, but this one does stop immediately, which I dont like at all. I have a smart ac thermostat, so what I do is to start the blower motor fan before I shut the AC down. That way the blower motor keeps working without stopping. Theres always some residual cold left behind in your coils, so for efficiency is good to run the blower motor, more o less as long the air still blowing cold. Final Edit: Definitely lauder than the original. When youre running the heat it gets even lauder. Blows more air I guess. Made one of my vents vibrate, so I had to do a little fix there. Heating performance is fine but I dont like the noise. Ac cooling performance is definitely worse. Because this motor runs at a higher rpm, it throws things out of place. Humidity levels in the house are quite higher by about 8 to 15 % more. I will still keep it because of the money I originally saved and mostly because I dont feel like doing the work again, but if you are about to buy this, do not! Get the real deal, pay a couple hundred more if you can and you will be way happier.
