The lid latching system leaves a little something to be desired but in general, I like this. It is easy to clean and easy to access.

Great quality! My crested gecko loves the vertical climbing space that this terrarium provides. I love the natural-looking foam background. Good ventilation.

works well for my snake, only negative is the background which has enough room for the snake to get behind so I removed it.

Package arrived unharmed and was easy to set up. I have a 5 year old crested gecko in it and so far she seems to have adjusted to her tank upgrade well. The back styrofoam wall fits well. The front door and locks work as they should. I’ve own the smaller version of this product (the 12x12x18) and both have been great!

This terrarium served its purpose as a fiddler crab tank and later on a terrarium. The ability to run the wires through the top was a pretty cool feature, and I like the vents placement. Never had any major problems for almost the 4 years I have had it. Only issue I had with the tank was the design of the wire mesh cover. Two problems that I ran into 1) Flimsy plastic locking tabs broke on me and 2) The metal wire mesh they use on the cover would rust. The fact that this was a terrarium I feel that this part should be made with a material that can resist humidity. It is a design flaw and I am not sure if or when they have changed it yet. I must admit that once I mentioned these problems to Exo-terra customer support they were very helpful and sent me a new lid absolutely free, so great customer service on their part. I will probably consider buying another one if I ever start another small set-up.

High quality, multi-function tank thats easy to use and lasts a long time. The top by itself is lined with metal mesh which is great if you want to add a heat bulb. It is also easy to remove and clean and allows access from the top. There are also sliding pieces that allow you to run tubing into the tank without having the risk of your pets escaping. The screen doors are nice and firm, easy to open and close. Its also waterproof if you want to create a paludarium setup. The backdrop is nice and is designed to run tubing under or on top to add in misters, pumps, or waterfalls. You can also buy different backdrops to use. Overall an excellent creation.
