The 8x8 cubes are great for smaller tarantula species. We use the larger sizes for many gecko species. Highly recommend.

My son loves this for his pet slugs. Easy to open to feed and clean. Very nice looking.

Perfect for my tarantula. Looks very nice with the wooden 3-d back drop (provided). It sits on my work desk and adds a nice touch of decor to my office. Stella likes it better than her old cage, which was a plastic critter keeper. This is actually about the same size as the cage she was in before. I thought it would be a bit bigger, but thats all on me. Make sure you look at the size if you are looking for something for a pet bigger then a spider, frog or small lizard.

I bought one for my Indo-china mantis (Hierodula patellifera), and I must say I couldnt be more happy with it! It was the perfect size and shape. Neither my mantis, or its prey items have escaped, and having technically three different ares to open (if you include the double door as two separate places)has helped prevent escapes as well! Very easy to keep misted and humidified, but not stuffy at all. Very nice airflow. I also have larger versions of these cages for my two tarantulas and one of my snakes. I really recommend these to anyone!

This little front-opening terrarium is a fantastic little piece! Very well constructed and perfect to fit on a small shelf. I cant really comment on the size in regards to housing any animals. I imagine it would work fairly well for smaller ground dwelling invertebrates, but I personally purchased it to use as a small mossarium, for which its fantastic! I hadnt purchased an Exo Terra terrarium before (previously just used zoo med) but for the size and price, this little home was exactly what I was looking for! Ill be adding a few more, of various sizes, when I need more homes for my arthropods. Definitely a well made, well designed product!

Exactly as described, arrived right on time. Weve been looking for a terrarium just like this one and couldnt find one in stores. I saw this online and it was perfect and even better in person. Fits our needs exactly; no issues with shipping or setup upon arrival either.

It came perfect, no scratches or cracks. I got this for what I thought was a frog in my shower. I got bedding, food, and this cage before I realized that it was just a rock. Great home for my pet rock, he looks great in it surrounded by his coconut substrate. Sometimes people think hes a real frog and its probably because hes in this cage. 5/5 stars because people still think hes a frog and not a rock

I bought this for my baby crested gecko. In retrospect, I should have gotten the 8x8x12 on for him, because it ends up being a little short for his needs, but he does pretty well anyway, hes still really small. Very well made terrarium, sturdy, and he cant escape (unless he decides to run up my arm and make a break for it.) Exo-Terra makes good stuff.
