> 3 dayPerfect for my tarantula. Looks very nice with the wooden 3-d back drop (provided). It sits on my work desk and adds a nice touch of decor to my office. Stella likes it better than her old cage, which was a plastic critter keeper. This is actually about the same size as the cage she was in before. I thought it would be a bit bigger, but thats all on me. Make sure you look at the size if you are looking for something for a pet bigger then a spider, frog or small lizard.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect terrarium for growing a few nice plants, or giving a home to small animals and insects. I plan on using it as a home for my Giant Asian Mantis once it gets big enough to eat larger prey items than fruit flies who could easily crawl out of the vented top. I also love that you can open it from the top or from the hinged glass door on the front. Great for giving a hungry mantis food while not disturbing it while it hangs upside down from the top mesh. The open mesh top can also sport a sun lamp to give your plants and animals some exposure on dark gloomy winter days. There are also many other accesories for this terrarium sold by exo terra as well to fit anyones individual needs. Keep in mind though that this particular terrarium is not very big. If you want to keep animals in it I would reccomend restricting the terrariums residents to smaller creatures such as anoles, mantids, tarantulas, ect. The vented mesh lid is close knit enough to prevent most critters from escaping, but smaller prey items like fruit flies or small crickets. All in all, this is a nice little terrarium that can house many different things. I highly reccomend this to insect hobbyists and indoor planters alike.

> 3 dayI use this to start cactus seeds in and to grow other small plants that would get lost in my larger terrarium.

> 3 dayI needed a small cage for two acorn-sized snails, and this terrarium works great. I removed the foam backdrop without any difficulty, and its easy to reach my hand inside to change the water/food dishes. Very functional and sturdy despite the small size.

> 3 daywould be perfect for a gecko. would recommend a way bigger & larger size for turtles.

> 3 dayIt performed its duty; I had Bermuda land snails in it for a time, left it outside when the snails crossed over the rainbow bridge, brought it inside, left it outside again when we moved, and it still functions like new. It held up under all that beating. The top screen rusted immediately, but I was misting with salt water so I suppose I had that coming.

> 3 dayExo-Terra is a great caging brand, but there is a bit of false advertising: the Nano is NOT appropriate for ANY reptile or amphibian, only arachnids or insects! I am planning to use this for a tarantula, but as someone who keeps and breeds all manners of reptiles, it is NOT for anything else, even for babies.

> 3 dayI bought this for my baby crested gecko. In retrospect, I should have gotten the 8x8x12 on for him, because it ends up being a little short for his needs, but he does pretty well anyway, hes still really small. Very well made terrarium, sturdy, and he cant escape (unless he decides to run up my arm and make a break for it.) Exo-Terra makes good stuff.
