> 3 dayTaking off the original shell took a bit of doing, but watch vids and youll get it. Otherwise the new one looks awesome and was trivial to snap in place.

> 3 dayUnlike the OE shell, which I have take off several times without any tabs breaking, these break fairly easily. Two of the tabs towards the bottom broke when putting it on the controller for the first time. The shells do look and fit very nice, but do not hold up if you have to remove to get back into the controller.

> 3 dayIts safe to say Im a big fan of ExtremeRates and there aftermarket products. Ive used Every product they have for both the Playstation and Xbox and dabbled with Nintendo. Each items is well put together, Have video instructions for each product and I would recommend every product. (Besides the LED kits even the newest version.) There products are on the pricey side, but the results do speak for them.

> 3 dayI watched the company’s video on installation and found it to be misleading. I attempted to remove my faceplate but all that happened was the tool they provided wore down and my controller is now warped. My warranty is now voided for no reason.

> 3 dayI wish I read a little more before the purchase, because soft touch doesnt mean soft, I guess it must means smooth plastic. Really wish it was a softer feel or more similar to the original front plate. Not near as grippy. Still good plate and nice color choices.

> 3 dayI am very happy with the two I installed. I bought 2 to differentiate our controllers. Make sure you go on you tube and watch the video for extremerate elite series 2. The music is cheerful and it shows you exactly how to get the old cover off. I put the prybar in the places they showed and worked it off. Once you get the first pop it is just a matter of persistence. The rest is easy. Anyway both covers look great.
