> 3 dayFairly easy to install. Quality paints used on faceplate and has a very nice soft feel in your hand. Great custom look for those looking to add another unique aspect to their elite 2 controller. I got the red and black and looks awesome. Highly recommend to those looking to add that extra something.

> 3 dayIt is a great controller. It fits well in my hands. The action of the joystick is what I am used to.

> 3 dayIt was a little scary taking apart my controller at first. There is glue inside that holds it in addition to the tabs around edges. Thought I was pulling too hard on something I shouldn’t. But once it was apart faceplate went on perfectly. Also, it looked like it was going to be too slick but turns out it is not.I added the gold rings also since I had it apart might as well right? Since the home button is color customizable I turned it gold as well. Just a nice added touch.

> 3 dayWas excited to get my clear green replacement shell for my xbox elite series 2 core controller. As a side note if you order one of the to replace the new white core elite controller the boards are attached to each other and make taking the controller apart very hard. Be careful or you will end up bricking your controller. While the faceplate looked amazing and fit nicely it took two orders to get what I actually ordered. The first one I was sent said clear green on the outside sticker but was clear purple. I also ordered the thumb sticks, buttons, bumpers and triggers in clear green. The bumpers did not fit my core controller and the center button wasnt in the box , so my controller is all clear green except that button which is still white.

> 3 dayThe shell itself looks amazing. It comes with a tool and the little ring things as promised. There werent really any instructions, though. I checked YouTube and the company put a video there . . . but when I tried to do what they were showing, it felt like I was going to break my brand new controller, so I stopped. I kept the product because I may change my mind later. I decided that a vinyl sticker was closer to my comfortable level of risk.

> 3 dayThis is an amazing product sold at a good price. For me the faceplate sits flush on all sides of the controller. It’s a smooth plastic feel that I personally like better than the original rubber on the elite 2. Be really careful and gentle when taking off the elite series 2 faceplate. I started at the top where LB and RB are and found that easiest. Also be ware that if you’re outside of USA removing the faceplate will void any warranties.

> 3 dayWhile the video is helpful, it does not convey the amount of pressure you need to apply to remove the stock face plate (just music no voice-over). What youre fighting against is not only clips but the adhesive on the underside of the stock cover. Just take your time and be careful. -- Overall, I am happy with the replacement (as the soft touch coating on my stock cover was starting to come off). I did not opt to install any other accessories or mods, and I already have the Xbox button changed to a different color through Steam (you need to either have it wired or use the official Xbox wireless adapter).

> 3 dayBought more Extremerate faceplate. Love the look of the clear green and blue, really evokes the old school OG Xbox clear coloured controller feeling. Overall, the plastic used is good. The tabs feel improved over their Clear faceplate a bit. Nice and sturdy and I didnt break any tabs on installation on either of them.
