Feather Double Edge Safety Razor Blades 100 Count

> 24 hourI had been using Derby Extra blades for about five years with very good results. I would get an occasional bad non-sharp blade but overall the quality of the Derby Extra blades were very good. Please note the DE blades Ive been using were made in Turkey. Looking at recent listings for DE blades they appear to be manufactured in Sweden. Seeing good reviews of the Feather razor blades, I ordered a pack of 100 to try them out. Ive been using them for about 3 or 4 months now. In general, these are excellent blades -- sharp and durable. I found there was no transition going from the Derby Extras to the Feather. I had no nicks, bleeding, etc. On average I get about 6 shaves from the Feather blades. I would say I get a slightly longer usage from the Feathers than the Derby Extra but they are fairly comparable. Given the price difference between the Feathers and the Derby Extra I would say the DE blades are a better value for the dollar. Quality-wise I might give a slight edge to the Feathers but its close. The one thing I dont like about the Feathers is that they dont label each side of the blade (1 and 2) like the Derby Extra blades. I like to turn over my blades after 3 shaves and I have to be careful that I keep track of the size with the Feather blades.

> 24 hourI used to use the expensive Mach3 razors but switches to these for daily shaving a few years ago. The 100ct pack will last me about a year and thats conservatively switching the blade every two days. You could go three or four days on one blade but I like that brand new blade feeling. It cuts facial hair like butter. The trick is to just let the razor use its own weight to guide its way down your face. After using these for so long disposable razors feel like shaving with cardboard.

> 24 hourAwesome razor blades. Each one lasts me about 2 weeks shaving every day (which blows every other razor out of the water.) So glad I found these.

> 24 hourI can’t speak for longevity cause I only use the blade once then discard, I like a fresh blade every time cause I personally experience less razor burn due to sensitive skin. If your new to wet shaving use my set up, I use a Rockwell 6S on R4 plate with a feather and I get BBS every time. Do not fear the sharpness, embrace it and use it to your advantage. Practice and work on your technique, let the weight of the razor with super light pressure and the sharpness of the blade do the work. If you don’t achieve a baby butt smooth shave and missed a little stubble, leave it and get it on the next shave to avoid over shaving and razor burn. 10/10

> 24 hourNot to stereotype, and certainly no intent to insult. But if this is how the Japanese make steel blades, wow, Id not have wanted to be on the wrong end of a Samurai sword. Have tried about 6 different blades. This is the one. Be careful, insanely sharp. But for me, they last a very long time, and the edge is so fine. Wonderful quality product.

> 24 hourThere are great rezors. I love how sharp they are, they float on your face. Some peple say they get cut by these but in all honesty these blades are the best ive ever tried. I also love the Derby blades even though they are polar opposites of these feathers. These really are the blades available.

> 24 hourThe blades are fantastic and the sharpest I have ever experienced. Twenty packs of five blades in a plastic case that even has the ability to safely dispose of used blades within the case. My search for the sharpest blades has ended and I am a Feather believer. Dont believe all the assassin hype, they are sharp but I can shave as fast as using a cheap disposable without any cuts. ***Rotate blades over (upside down) every two days to dramatically extend their usefulness life. I go a full week with a single blade doing this procedure!
