Yes, razor blades affect different people in different ways. But like so many, I find the Feathers to be the best I have found so far. Very sharp and smooth for my beard type which I would describe as medium.

Feathers are the measuring stick for all other double-edge blades. Other blades are almost as sharp as a Feather, but for less money. Even when some reviewer thinks another blade is superior, to make his case, he will say This blade shaves smoother/lasts longer/etc than a Feather. Feather is the standard. That isnt to say it will be your favorite. As a blade known for its sharpness, Feathers can cut you if you arent careful. And if you dont have a light touch, Feathers can cause razor burn even if they DONT cut you. So you may settle on a blade that is less sharp, and more heavily coated, to avoid cuts and burns. Still, with a light touch (like a feather, right?) and good technique, you can achieve in one pass the kind of shave other blades give in two, even three passes. In my experience, they are as durable as any other blade. And in general, while they cost twice as much as many other blades, they still cost considerably less per shave than cartridges. Should you start with these blades, or work up to them? Opinions differ. Some say jump right in, take your chances, and learn to shave properly. Others say perfect your technique on a more forgiving blade before graduating to these. But at any rate, before settling on another blade as the best, you owe it to yourself to try a Feather. This price is hard to beat. You can get a years supply of these blades for the same price as others ask for blades with less cachet. And, because of Feathers reputation as THE blade, if you find they arent for you, any double-edge shaver you know will bless you for making a gift of your remaining supply, earning you their gratitude and enhancing your reputation as an all-around good person.

These are the best razor blades on the market, it is simple as that! When paired with the Feather AS-D2 it makes for an incredible shave. The price point is exceptional. The packaging was not what the picture showed (20x5 razors in a cushioned mailer) but no worries. It took only a couple of weeks for the package to be delivered, but I expected that as it was explained clearly that it could take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks to be delivered. In fact, the delivery came sooner than I expected! I now have almost two years worth of razors for a minimal outlay of cash! One package of Fusion razors will last much less than that and cost a whole heck of a lot more!! These are Samurai blades and will slice through a days or a weeks worth of growth with NO PROBLEM!

I had always heard feather were these great sharp blades, but after trying them Im not any more impressed with them than I am with my cheaper Astra blades. They are still only about 23 cents each which isnt bad but I had gotten 300 Astra blades for $10 so cant beat that.

Amazing quality.

The Feather Blades that i received were not the 5 blade packs depicted in the amazon listing, but the yellow and black 10 packs. I get about 6 four-pass shaves out of these blades so, the quality is certainly not affected. I was just hoping to get the 5 packs as they are easier to travel with, if I end up having them confiscated, Id rather lose 5 blades as opposed to 10.

These blades last far longer than the Gillette Mach 3 product. Easy to clean and very affordable. Glad I bought them. Works really well against my skin. The other thing I noticed was that other cheaper metal blades would dull before I could finish shaving but not so with these. Shaving is quick and fun as long as I am applying light pressure and being careful with them. Thank you very much to the people who manufacture these high quality blades. I appreciate you.

After years of trying different products to get the closest and most comfortable shave, these blades have proven to be the best option. I have a very thick beard and these blades cut the hair without leaving razor burn.

I have thick facial hair and these are excellent blades - you cant go wrong with quality made Japanese steel. Whether I havent shaved in a couple days or 5+ these blades do an excellent job of staying sharp and giving me a clean shave every time. I would use these blades over almost any other on the market. Dont skimp on blades, your skin will thank you.
