In the DE shaving world, Feather blades are known as the sharpest. They are sharp and comfortable. A newbie to DE shaving should wait a while once the get use to DE vs cartridges, but after that, try Feathers. Astra is good too, but not as sharp. New DE shavers should start with Personna Red Israeli, blades.

Best blade for my face. Other blades are not sharp enough for me to shave smoothly.

I placed this blade into my safety blade and it cut much smoother and easier than the merkur blade that came with my handle. I have a used a single blade longer than my old blades and it still cuts like new. I think these will be my blade and it cant be beat for the price per blade!
