Super soft, definitely thicker than most socks, but could be more cushioned at the heal and ball of the foot.

These are great socks! Thick enough for casual hiking but thin enough for every day use and wear with tennis shoes ect. These are great quality and seems like theyll last awhile unlike most ladies socks. Not quite as tall as typical crew style sock. Also, theyre really cute and retro-ish.

I bought these socks for taking local hikes in the Santa Monica mountains and am so impressed by the quality that I have taken to wearing them around the house. The inside of the socks are finished as nicely as the outside making them exceptionally soft and warm. In fact, on a recent cold autumn night I left them on in bed for extra warm. Usually, I wake up overheated or feeling restricted, removing socks that I wear to bed in the middle of the night. Not this pair. They remained cozy, not sweaty, soft, and stayed on without sliding down-all without feeling like circulation was being choked off in my legs. This is the first time I have ever written a review for socks but they are worth it. Honestly, I cannot recommend them highly enough. As a plus, the colors and patterns look very cute with my hiking Merrills MOAB II (which I high endorse as well). If youre on the fence about socks, dont be, your toes will love you, I assure you. Come on Twinkle Toes, what are you waiting for-comfort hiking, being cozy warm at home, looking cute? Well, here they are, and if I were you, Id buy extra for the perfect holiday gift giving. Easy to wrap, easy to ship and boy do those colors look cute coming out of the package- you cant go wrong with these!!!
