Like you, I was concerned about the quality and the longevity of this bulb given the price. Boy, was that silly. Ive had this bulb installed as a replacement on our kitchen cupboard lights for over 6 months now and its shining perfectly. Take precaution when installing these bulbs not to the touch the bulb itself with your bare fingers (oils from your skin may decrease bulb life). I just used rubber gloves when installing and voila!

Just installed 3 days ago but had same feit bulbs previously. Didnt keep record but seem to last 1-2 years with daily use 1 - 3 hours.

Bulb only lasted a week

Prompt delivery and the bulbs work. However, they dont seem to produce as bright/white light as the original Kichler bulbs that they replaced.

Order a three-pack on 12/01/10 (today is 4/12/2011). Two of the three have burned out already. Ive ordered one more two-pack to see if things are better the second time around. At this rate, the cost to have a light in my microwave will run ~ $25 per year. That isnt going to cut it. If this batch proves no better, Ill be looking for a better product.

I have these in my kitchen as overhead lights for the work area. The last time I ordered these was July 2013 and I am buying now January 2015 all replacements since theyve all burned out. Id say I used them 4 hours a day, Each bulb lasted about 2000 hours, so the claim on the packaging is incorrect at 4000. As someone else said, downgraded to 4 because of the hours being 2000 and not 4000.

Package arrive I open plug bulb into socket very very very careful. LIGHT CAME OUT! Oh marvelous day! Will buy light bulb again and no candles.
