> 3 dayGood oval shape, fits well in refrigerator, but filtered Water has smell and bitter after taste that has caused me to discontinue use. No amount of cleaning of pitcher has removed this taste. Unfiltered water has no such taste.

> 3 dayI am so happy Clear Genius is here! It has always been a quandry--dont want to use bottled water becuase of the waste it creates. Could not stand to use the hard cased filters used for the other products. This is more environmentally friendly and for me less expensive than putting in a water filtration system in my house. I am happpy someone finallycame up with this idea so there is that much less plastic in the world. Only thing I would change is that is very difficult to get the filter out of the container when it is used up bit not sure how you would fix that. I will still use them. 6/19/18 OK, I am not liking these anymore. Something changed. In newest pack of 3 I bought I threw the first one out thinking it was defective but I am having the same problem with the 2nd one I put in. The water smells like mildew and does not taste good. If the 3rd pod is the same I will not be using these anymore. I am hoping this is just a bad batch because the concept is good and less plastic is a good thing. Like others I still continue to have a very difficult time getting the pod pit pf the holder. I wind up tearing it open from the top-which seems ineffective-to get it out of the plastic holder. 9/23/18 I contacted the company and they had me return the remaining product that was unopened and the one producing the mildew small and replaced with 3 new one. They suggested I put the water in the refigerator-fine, I don always want my water .cold but did (takes longer to heat up for tea). First one was OK, did sort of have the metallic taste others have commented on but no mildew smell. Put the 2nd one in Sept. 1 and yesterday noticed green near the bottom of the pitcher. Took it apart and wiped it out and what was on the paper towel was what was on the sides and bottom of the pitcher. I wonder how long my family was drinking the water with this stuff on the inside of the pitcher. I always wash the pitcher. I have never had this happen with other filters. Will not be buying again. Lovrd the idea of this but something is not right wit the product.
