Greater than one weekThese filters give the water a chemical taste that is disagreeable. Will not repurchase. Good idea to recycle the plastic holders and only replace the filtration material but it is a fail in my opinion. I never experience this with the Britta filters but they do add more to the landfill.

> 3 dayI have to admit I was skeptical at first, particularly since the filter pod doesnt fit quite the same as the Brita filter does. But it works better than the Brita filter...the water tastes better. And even better than that is the environmental advantage of using the biodegradable filter. I will definitely buy these again.
