> 3 dayUnlike some of the cheaper filters, these Filtrete filters fit my 20x25x1 central AC perfectly. They are sturdy enough so they don’t crumple due to strong air flow. On the expensive side? Yes, but I use the more expensive 1500 due to 8 cats and a German Shepherd!

06-06-2025Normally never have an issue with items being damaged and if so it’s something that happen in transit which is expected ,but this one the shipping box was perfect. Looks like whoever pick this item for packaging from Amazon didn’t seem to care it was damaged. It should work fine but it should have not been sent like this to a consumer. The filter itself is excellent, can’t complain.

> 3 dayI was using a MERV8 filter from a hardware store brand. It was fine for the first few weeks, then i started having breathing problems - i.e. was having a hard time taking deep breaths once in a while in the house. I felt like my lungs were straining when i was trying to take those deep breaths. My house has some rugs and a big dog, but mostly hardwood floors, and havent had these issues inside the house before. Resuming my allergy spray did not help. So I bought this filter from the hardware store last night and replaced the MERV8 one (it was barely 3 days old and almost new) - within about an hour, i was back to normal! No more breathing issues inside the house. If you are sensitive and prone to allergies. then this is a must buy - its not optional.
