> 3 dayAnd, like all filters, they have to be changed regularly. Not sure if there’s a difference in quality based on price. Hope not, because these were as affordable as any. I replace every 6 months. These seem to ‘do the job’.

> 3 dayIts a perfect fit. 12x24x1 is pretty accurate. And it does pretty good against filtering odors...when someone uses the toilet you can barely notice any bad odors. I dont have pets so the only thing it filters is a bit of dust in the house which you notice once it turns a bit dark.

> 3 dayI can immediately tell that even though this filter is a higher merv rating, it flows better than my Flanders merv 8 just by the sound the system makes. I like having a high pleat filter that allows good air flow while also providing good filtration. Filtrete wins again.

15-04-2025Ive been buying the Filtrete MPR 1500 Ultra Allergen filters for years. I will likely never go to another type of Filtrete, not to mention a different brand. If anything, I may go up a level or two if I ever anticipate lengthy construction projects in my home. However, I can say without a doubt that I feel my 3200 sq ft home has noticeably cleaner air. Ive even had a slip of the mind and didnt change the filters for over four months before. Keep in mind, thats NOT a good idea. Nonetheless, the filters kept working fine and I noticed no degradation to my HVAC and during regular maintenance, there were no issues in my home system. Again, I strongly advise replacing them every three-ish months or less. Id say that during normal operation, one should inspect the filters at least once a month. These filters are not restrictive whatsoever. I havent noticed any issues in my heating and cooling for as long as Ive used them--including when I accidentally went over in their lifespan. Ill keep buying these for as long as they make them and quality is maintained! Unlike some other reviewers, I have never had an issue with quality. Id also like to point out that I do not care if the cardboard around the filters has tiny imperfections. Its hidden and has never affected the air quality or function of my system whatsoever. Buy these! You wont regret it.

> 3 dayIt was time to replace my air filter for the HVAC, so I purchased these to replace the same exact brand and model purchase locally at large home improvement store. They were slightly too big, by about 1/8-1/4”. They had to be bent slightly and forced to get them in place. I’ve never had this issue before with these filters when purchased locally. If this weren’t an issue, I’d give them 5 stars across the board for quality filtering.

> 3 dayI live in a year-round allergy state where basic filters just dont do the job - have always used Filtrete but switched to MPR 1500 Healthy Living Ultra Allergen to combat allergies even in the winter. We live in a moderately wooded area of suburbia and took the advice NOT to go with the thickest Filtrete filter available, which would require replacing monthly instead. The Healthy Living Ultra Allergen filter seems to be the happy medium; only required replacing after 3 months during the winter and the same into the spring months - so far, noticeably better than the basic version. About to enter the summer months, expecting it to work just as well.

Greater than one weekWe have a golden/lab and a ton of pet dander in our home. We did a home remodel last summer and we have a ton of dust. Since we started using these filters I find that they last double the amount of time than the filters I used before (now lasting 2 months) and my husband gets less allergy attacks - big win in our home!
