Better filtration and better flow? I have a simple duct fan system to move air from my wood stove heated living room the the bedrooms. I originally intended for the system to run only when heating, but I quickly noticed the house was significantly less dusty, the bedrooms felt more comfortable year round, and the filters were catching an amazing amount of crud, even with the intake 12 feet off the floor! Combined with the amazing efficiency of the Panasonic 8 duct fan I quickly decided to let the system run continuously. It has been several years, and I have used a good sampling of filters sold on Amazon, starting from the most economical no-name on up to these. The 3M filters are far and away the best bet if your goal is pulling allergens out of the air. The amazing thing is while they are filtering better, they are also allowing noticeably more air to flow than the cheap filters!

My air conditioner stopped working. The tech said it was due to using these filters! I was shocked. He said the brand is bad and nobody uses it in the industry. He said the level 12 filters put too much stress on the system and thats what caused it to ice up.

These filters are very sturdy and made well. They filter the air very well; we noticed a noticeable difference in the air quality when using these. We run the fans continuously so that the air is always clean. At 87 days, I noticed that one of the furnaces was tripping due to airflow. When I changed the filter, it was noticeably dirty; replacing the filter restored the operation. I usually go five months on a lesser filter without tripping the furnace. If you change the filter on a regular schedule, you will be very pleased. The Filtrete app is a big help.

This filter does not suck in when unit is on, very sturdy, recommend; highly recommend amazon, sent only one first time and amazon corrected the situation and sent me what I ordered, highly recommend amazon.

A good filter. You can spend a fortune if you want to filter out everything. This seems to be a decent range filter for a decent price. I buy the two pack and change them every ninety days. It will extend the life of the unit.

The permanent filters made out of steel might be longer-lasting but these paper Filtrete are exactly what I wanted and are extraordinarily easy to install.
