This is really not a weather proof item. It is a nice skin that will help protect the camera and also help keep sun glare out. Also, I bought and return several other items which nearly enclosed blink XT. I don’t think the fully covered ones are good for your camera because it seal them completely and increase temperature of the cam. I got this white one because I live in a hot area with numerous 100+ degree days in summer. The soft silicone skin is durable and should last “longer” under UV and should help reflect sunlight and help keep the cameras cooler. Will update after several months of use.

Im glad I purchased these silicone skins for my cameras..they fit perfect and it adds an extra layer of protection. I would highly recommend this item.

I like the silicon skins as protection for the cameras I have installed outdoors so much, that I bought covers as a gift for a friend.

Cost was very reasonable.

They fit correctly and are cheaper than the Blink branded camera skins. I cant forsee any issues. You could conceivably use them on the indoor (non XT) cameras but it might cover part of the illumination light. Dont quote me on that, but they appear the right size for both varieties.
