> 3 dayThe lenses still get wet in heavy rain. But I guess they give an added weatherproof protection. I even have an indoor camera outside under the eve of my roof. It’s been out there in the heat and cold snow for three seasons now and still works. Now it’s protected even better with these. I also painted the white camera black with a sharpie before putting this cover on to make it more stealthy.

> 3 dayThese are highly rated and were easy to put on; however, I only saw one negative review that these affect the IR and light which I learned after the first night with the silicone covers on. One camera was brand new and the other two are fairly new and the IR worked great the second night after I removed these silicone covers.

> 3 dayThis is really not a weather proof item. It is a nice skin that will help protect the camera and also help keep sun glare out. Also, I bought and return several other items which nearly enclosed blink XT. I don’t think the fully covered ones are good for your camera because it seal them completely and increase temperature of the cam. I got this white one because I live in a hot area with numerous 100+ degree days in summer. The soft silicone skin is durable and should last “longer” under UV and should help reflect sunlight and help keep the cameras cooler. Will update after several months of use.
