I bought these protective covers to use on my new Blink Outdoor cameras (Im referring to the new 9/2020 release cams that succeeded the XT series) after reading some Q&A here saying that they would fit them. Yes they do FIT the new cams, but because Blink re-arranged the location of everything on the front of the new 9/2020 release cameras versus where it all was on the older XT series cams, this product now covers up the blue operation light and also covers the infrared light (see attached photos), so at night you get no IR illumination, pitch dark images. This is definitely not the fault of the product, they made no claim for this item to be compatible with them. I just assumed since people said they would FIT, that they would work just fine. Not the case. You get no IR illumination at night while using these on the cams. Learned the hard way, the difference between just fit, and fit AND functionality. Im in the process of returning them now. If you use the new release cams in areas where after dark they get enough ambient light from porch lights and/or floodlights where you dont need or require IR illumination at night, you may be able to still get away with using these covers. I put one of these covers on one of my driveway cams where I have three 150w equivalent LED motion floods lighting up the area and didnt even notice a difference in image quality after dark. It was when I installed one on the other side of the house where the cam is in pitch black dark and went to re-mount and re-aim it after installation that I was baffled why I couldnt see anything anymore, once I took the cover back off and it worked fine again with IR illumination, thats when I connected the dots and figured out what the problem was with the IR light being blocked with the cover installed. Its a shame because I like them and they seem to be a good item. Thats why I still gave them 4 stars here, theyre fine for what they are and its not their fault that they dont fit a product they never promised to fit. They are just for XT series cams, not the new 9/2020 release cams. Buy accordingly.

When using the Blink Camera System in the rain or other elements outside you should purchase these for added protection for your cameras. At the Low price its a win win ! They are working excellent so far! Very sensitive to movement. I wish I could mount them 150 miles from home so I could monitor my Hunting Camp !!

Just what I was looking for. Fits right and provides just enough shade to block the early morning sun without blocking the camera view. Easy to slip on.

For the money these cameras work very well. Would like to see inprovements in the night vision. I only had the cameras for about three weeks, not sure about battery length. Good Product!!

I have a ring cam. I wanted to check Blink XT2 because it has good reviews. I spent 4 hours trying and see if this set of 3 cameras will make Magic..unfortunately it didn’t. 1. Wireless connection is not stable 2. The video quality is very poor . 3. Night video quality is very poor as well 4. Live Video is interrupting 60-70% of the time. ( all listed above are in comparison to my Ring cam - I don’t have these issues with my current Ring cam.) So, I will return Blink and I think buy more Ring cams. Also, blink app is very unprofessional in comparison to Ring app.
