Very sturdy

Ham Ops -- not as long as you need to clear SUV liftgates with an antenna with a larger coil like an Alpha Antenna. Vibration loosened the mount in just a few weeks. Went into the recycle bin.

I bought this about a month and a half ago to use with my 102 whip. It was easy to install however I did use larger bolts than what came with the kit as they seemed a bit wimpy. It has held up great so far even though many thought it wouldnt be strong enough for such a big antenna. I even hit a tree branch the other day going 60 and put a big dent in my antenna (which I got out later) but it didnt affect the mount at all.

Nice mount. Put it on my Cherokee XJ.

Great mount and very sturdy. I have this installed on a 2015 Jeep compass. The only issue is the size of the screw heads. They are very tall and for the application they could be flatter. I opted to use a smaller profile screw and then filed the head semi flat.

The item is exactly as described, heavy duty, and well made.
