Fixcracked Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly for Ipad air 1st and WIFI Antenna Cable and Professional Tool Kit (black)

I managed to nick a screen cable when I replaced my iPad battery, so had to replace it so I could use the unit. Delivery was quick (I didnt have serious withdrawal), and the tool kit wasnt as complete as what I got with my battery replacement kit, but together they gave me what I needed for a successful replacement. I have not experienced the wonky button, as many have mentioned. What I didnt realize, and the instructions did not mention, is that new glue strips where already attached to the new screen, I just needed to remove the plastic covering on them before final screen installation. Since this was my first venture into opening any kind of tablet device, I was not aware of this - and I wondered why the screen, of all pieces, did not ship with glue strips (as my replacement battery had). Because of this, a lot of dust got under the glass very quickly and made the iPad practically as unusable as if I still had a dead battery. Now that I have seen another example of a replacement screen shipment, Ill know what to do in the future, and will most likely reorder this brand if needed in the future. Ive also noticed that this screen holds dirt and oils much easier than the OEM screen, and Im finding I have to clean it MUCH more frequently than I used to. Still, Im very happy to have an operational iPad back in my hands, for much less money than buying a new one.

I would rate the quality of the screen a B+, Consistency on sending me always a working part, B++. These are the only 2 factor I care and consider when purchasing my parts.

Nothing is more irritating than replacing your ipad screen for the edges to stop recognizing your touch a month later. Very dissapointed. Will never order another product from this company.

I bought this screen digitizer for my husband s ipad air cause the screen was all broken ..with the instruction that came inside and the tools we put this new digitizer glass in like 40 minutes..we never did this before so not bad for first time..Recommended this glass for your ipad ..works liker than the original one excellent... After putting everything together, adjusting and readjusting, the home button didnt work. Im very disappointed with the home button.

This is my second of these screens. The first one shattered after a minor drop. The second one cracked as I was laying it onto the iPad. This is just not quality glass. Also the home button on this second screen is not seated right. I am very disappointed.
