Fixcracked Touch Screen Replacement Parts Digitizer Glass Assembly for Ipad air 1st and WIFI Antenna Cable and Professional Tool Kit (black)

This did not work well for my first gen iPad Air. The bottom row of apps are no longer clickable and my home button does not work either. I can not recommend this product.

I really like this digitizer. Works great on a A1474 iPad Air. The touch feels very sensitive like factory. Easier then you think to replace. The home button feels a little different but works fine. I type a lot in landscape with two hands a lot. This still lets me type lightening fast speeds. 5 Stars from me!!!

I am seriously in awe of how easy this was. It gets a 4 because the instructions with it are terrible. I had watched several YouTube videos on this while waiting for my 2 day delivery. And still when I opened it and looked at the instructions I couldnt make heads or tails of it. But following along with the YouTube video made this a breeze. It was very time intensive but really quite easy. Its just slow painstaking work to get the top off without damaging anything inside. I am seriously not handy and have a slight tremor but its done and it works. But amazed. I wish I had known about this 3 professional repairs ago, I couldve saved hundreds.

Home button is becoming less responsive only after 2 months and sometimes I have to press it harder. The included instructions are not even for an ipad so they are useless. Check Youtube instead. The flex cable is different from the OEM cable as it has an extra section that you need to adhere to the screen forming a loop. See picture that I found on Youtube. If you dont do that, you risk damaging the flexible cable and result in ghost touches and dead areas.

I would watch a few YouTube videos before changing out the glass on your iPad. The instructions that came with this product was horribly written. Also was missing a few tools to help with removing the old glass. It took about a hour with two people for us from start to finish with some hiccups because of the missing tools and the instructions. My advice is to just throw away the instructions watch Youtube and you will be just fine. Replacement parts works great and our Ipad is like brand new again.

Low Quality, the screen is coming off after a couple weeks due to the glue and the middle button does not work.

I didn’t have any trouble replacing my cracked screen with this screen. It was my first time repairing my own device and I’m glad I did. I’ve had it on my ipad for about two and half months now with absolutely no issues.

I wish I never used this product. I had a cracked screen and now I have a iPad that doesn’t work at all. Nothing will turn on at all and I followed every step. Instructions are tiny with tiny pictures and missing words.

Needed more information on replacing item but works, thank you
